I frequently get my breakfast in either the Chinese or Malay nasi lemak stalls in the market.
Today, as I was walking towards the market from the office, I noticed the Chinese stall was not open. I approached the Malay stall.
There was a customer already there.
I normally buy 2 packs of nasi lemak and 3 curry puffs. The customer before me wanted 30 curry puffs. I thought to myself I would not get any.
When it was my turn, (I go there so often I don’t have to tell the young girl what I want anymore), the stall owner gave me 2 packs of nasi lemak and 3 curry puffs.
I was surprised. Because I saw the previous customer took all the curry puffs. The young stall owner told me she reserved them for me (when she saw me approaching the stall.)
Nice. God is good, tiap-tiap hari.
