Lessons learned

I had to be poked 3 times for my blood samples today.

I remember Jesse, 11 years old and all 18 kg of him had to subject himself to this he had a growth in his throat that affected his appetite and respiration. He’s all grown up now – 18 years old and 60 kg (now that’s a weight I don’t mind having.)

Dad once got admitted suspected of stroke. The nurse poke a needle in and his vein bulged. The nurse pulled it out and looks for another vein. Dad said it was painful and all I could do was to hold him in my arms. Dad had a clean bill of health – no stroke.

And, one more thing – I should always charge my mobile phone. It doesn’t matter I’m in the middle of a 4-day holiday. I never know when I need to use my phone. With 40% battery, I was able to communicate with some of the most important people in my life while in the hospital.
