Pastor Chris Kam said a good sermon serves three purposes:

1. Inform the mind
2. Inspire the heart
3. Instruct the behavior

The same goes for a good conference.

LEAD2014 has come and gone. I hope we continue to mull over what we heard and continue to learn from it. I intend to go through the notes I have taken with my family and possibly the CG. I want to ponder carefully the lessons I can learn. I don’t want LEAD2014 to be just another conference. Time is of essence. I do not want to let go any opportunity to learn and to change my life.

A good sermon / conference should comfort the uncomfortable and make the comfortable uncomfortable.
