Psalm 9 is filled with praises for God’s victory, cries for justice, and unwavering trust in God.
Celebrate God’s Victory. We can celebrate God’s past victories in our lives. Reflecting on his deliverance in the past fosters a heart of gratitude, Knowing you serve a victorious God increases our faith in God.
Cries for Justice. The psalmist expressed his frustration over the injustices he observed. He plead for God’s justice.
Unwavering Trust in God. Despite the circumstances, the psalmist expressed his trust in God. He declared that God will one day just the earth and be a refuge for the oppressed.
What do we do when we see injustice around us? Or when we are the receiving end of injustice? How do we find refuge in God? What steps can we take to trust God as a constant source of strength and security?
