As Christians, we pray, we worship, we have fellowship, we read the Bible. However, when it comes to sharing the Gospel, sometimes, we fall short. What holds us back from sharing the most important message we have ever received? We are called to share the Gospel as Christians. However, we often hesitate. How can we overcome that and share the good news boldly?
Sharing the Gospel is one of the greatest privileges we have as Christians. Jesus commissioned us to “go and make disciples of all nations.” (Mt 28:19) He calls us to be his witnesses in the world. Yet, many of us feel nervous or uncertain about how to share our faith. We fear rejection and feel inadequate. We choose to remain silent. The truth is, God equips us for this mission.
The Gospel is the message of hope, love, and salvation that world desperately needs. By sharing the Gospel, we participate in God’s plan to bring people into a relationship with him. While we may feel that we do not have the perfect words or dramatic story to tell. God can use our simple and authentic testimonies to reach others.
Ask yourself, who in your life needs to hear the Gospel? How can you take the first step in sharing your faith? You are not alone in this. The Holy Spirit is with you. He guides your word. He plants seeds in the hearts of those you speak to.
Always pray for God to give you the boldness and courage to share the Gospel. Pray for God to open your eyes to those who need to hear God’s message of love and salvation. Pray for God to empower you with his spirit and help you to trust that God to help you along the way.
