Read the Script

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” (Psalm 119:105)

Just like actors read and practice their script to perform well on stage, we need to know our “script” in life. Being prepared means knowing every detail and practicing it until it feels natural.

If your goal is to be a good IT Manager, you must understand your company, master your field, think clearly, and fix problems quickly. Doctors need strong knowledge, care for others, good communication, sharp focus, and the ability to stay calm. Actors need to know their lines and develop their talents.

It’s important to spend time learning your script fully.

For Christians, our script is the Bible. God’s Word tells us how to live and how to walk with Christ. We might not get every step spelled out, but the Bible gives us the right direction. The Holy Spirit helps us when we lose our way.

I invite you to say this prayer.

Father, I thank you I have the Bible. I thank you I can spend time with you. I thank you the Holy Spirit is my counsellor. Help me to stay on the path. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
