Coming to God in Faith

When we go to school, we learn. We are taught how to read, how to write, and how to calculate. We learn new things based on the foundation of our past learning. From simple mathematical calculation to complex differentiation, from simple physical law to complex chemical formula, from simple words to complex compositions. We learn step by step. Our teachers / lecturers do their best to help us understand the quadratic functions and the ways to put together words in beautiful prose and poems.

Learning at school is step by step – building on what you already know. In faith, you read the Bible, listen, and seek to understand God. But some truths about God are much greater than what our minds can grasp. His love, wisdom, and plans go far beyond our reasoning. The Bible has mysteries we may never fully explain, but faith is not blind. It is choosing to trust God, even when things are unclear.

You do not need every answer before you seek God. Faith is relying on him, knowing he is in control, even when you cannot see how everything fits together. Walking by faith gives peace instead of pressure.

If you feel lost in questions, remember – God is bigger than anything you cannot understand. He welcomes you to read, pray, and learn with an open heart. Do not let the need to know everything keep you away.

Keep reading the Bible. Keep praying. Keep seeking God. As you trust, you will find peace and strength. Let your faith be confident in mystery and let trust guide your journey each day.

I invite you to say this prayer.
Father, help me to trust you when I do not have all the answers. Give me peace in the mysteries and courage to keep seeking you each day. Let my faith rest in your love and wisdom. I pray in the name of Jesus, amen.
