16/01/2024|Psalm 68 – Are you winning?

Good morning. Have a blessed Tuesday.

In Psalm 68, we see God leading us into victory. May God arise and his enemies be scattered. It was a clear victory.

We also see the righteous rejoice. God is “father to the fatherless” and a “defender of widows.” Those who are desperate for help get helps from God. He is a God who is approachable. We can always come to him. Give thanks for what God has done. Give thanks for who God is in our lives.

And God wants us to do something about it. We are not called to be spectators. A Christian walk is no spectator sport. We are asked to partake in God’s victory by proclaiming it! We are to proclaim the power and might and majesty of God. We are to proclaim the victory of God. We are to proclaim the hope found in God!

Do we live as a victor? Do we live as a bystander with popcorns in our hands (there are others who can do the proclamation)? Do we live with our head down like one defeated? When others see us, do they want “what you have”?
