The life of Jesus fulfilled some 300 Old Testament prophecies. The cruficixion itself fulfilled dozens of them. Jesus was crucified atop Calvary / Golgotha between two thieves. On the cross, Jesus paid the ultimate price for the sins of mankind.
On the cross, Jesus endures not only physical pain but also the insults and ridicule from the crowds and one of the two thieves. Darkness overed the land for 3 hours. Jesus cried out to the Father God. the temple curtain were torn in half, representing the tearing down of the barrier between humanity and God. We can come to God directly. We do not need to go through a priest anymore. Jesus opened a way for a direct relationship with God. Even a centurion declared Jesus as the Son of God,

The Cost of Salvation. The cruxifixtion of Jesus is a powerful reminder of the immense price paid for our redemption. It should remind us to life a life worthy of the sacrifice. It should remind us to be grateful and honour this gift of eternal life.
How to Face Adversaries. Jesus endured the insults. When we face opposition, persecution or criticism, stay strong. Keep the faith. Remember the example set by Jesus on the cross.
Imtimate Relationship with God. Jesus has opened the way for us to establish an imtimate relationship with God. What a blessing! Treasure our time spent with God.
Remember: The crucifixion is a central event in the Christian faith. By reflecting on Jesus’ suffering, unwavering faith, and the impact of His sacrifice, we are encouraged to live a life worthy of His gift, persevere through challenges, and draw closer to God.
