Psalm 19 celebrates God’s glory in two areas, that is the natural world and his holy scripture. The first six verses spoke about the glory of God’s creation. Even the heavens declare God’s handiwork, which is a testament to his power, wisdom, and creativity. This revelation is available to all who observe the world around them. The next eight verses talked about the beauty of the Law. David described God’s law as perfect. It revised the soul, and it makes the simple wise. Those who follow God’s precepts and lives according to them find joy.
Appreciate God in Creation. The natural world is both beautiful and wonderful. We should appreciate it for it is a reflection of God’s creative power and majesty!
