Greetings. We are into week number 21 of the 2024 DUMC Bible Reading Plan. Whether you are reading the Bible on your own or reading it together with your group, it is always a blessing to read the Bible, to memorize it, and to meditate on it. I trust that the past 20 weeks have been an immense joy for you.
This week, we read 3 chapters of Psalms and 2 chapters from 2 Samuel. Running through the 5 passages is the concept of facing different kinds of adversities or troubles and seeking God’s help. We each face different difficulties be it illness, sin, brokenness, injustice, surrounded by enemies. We all can seek God’s help during challenges times.
No matter what you are facing, I pray you the Bible reading this week helps you to find peace and guidance from God.
