I am a hoarder.
I have books. Some of them I read a few times. Some of them I started but did not finish. Some I have not started.
I also have a large collection of e-books, in Google Books, Amazon Kindle, and my subscription of Everand (formerly known as Scribd). There are also audio books.
I really need to spend more time with the books I have.
I have collected many computer games. The newer computer games don’t run well on my computer. There are so many I have not tried.
Lying quietly in my house are an electric oven, a convection oven, a super-duper juicer, and an air fryer. They are are still in their respective boxes. Why did I get them? I wanted to use them. It is just a matter of when.
I will continue to collect books (paper, electronic or audio) and games. Electronic appliances, not so much.
My most treasured collection is in my memory. The moments in life, happy, sad, angry, calm, etc. As I grow in age, I find some of them are slipping away. Perhaps one day I will put all of them down in a memoir, at least those I still have in my memory.
