We read in Psalm 94 a powerful cry for justice and a reminder that God sees all. God will not let the wicked go unpunished. It begins by calling on God to act against the arrogance of the wicked. They think they can get away with everything.

I just heard from the Prager United podcast on Sunday that we love confidence, but we hate arrogance. There is a fine line between being confident and being arrogant. Do not cross that line.

Psalm 94 gives comfort to the faithful and assures them that God is their refuge. He will repay the evildoers.

“For the Lord will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance.” (verse 14)

This verse reassures us that, even when injustice seems overwhelming and bad people seems to be winning, God is always present, and he will bring justice.

Psalm 94 encourages to trust in God’s justice. We know that he sees everything and will bring righteousness to light. In times of trial and tribulations, we can take refuge in his unfailing love and protection.

What kind of injustice do you see around you? Are valuable resources and education opportunities being distributed fairly? Are wicked people laughing all the way to the bank? What do you need to bring to God in prayer?

I invite you to say this prayer.

Father, I thank you for being my defender and refuge. When I face injustice, help me to trust in your perfect judgement. Strengthen my faith. Remind me that you are always with me. You will bring justice in your time. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
