We are so busy we hardly have time for ourselves. We have even less time for our loved ones and our friends. Before we realize, we are taking them for granted. I will meet them next week, or next month, or next year. And then we remember, we have not met them for years.
Sometimes, a simple phone call can make all the difference. It does not even have to be a long one. It just needs to be a moment to check in, to offer encouragement, and remind that someone that they matter to you. A kind word, a listening ear, or a shared joke can brighten up someone’s day. It strengthens the bond of fellowship.
In addition to connecting, do remember to pray for one another. When we lift up each other in prayer, we not only bring their needs before God but also grow in love and unity as a family or a community of faith.
So, please take a moment this week to reach out to a person or three. Call, text, meet up. Tell them you miss them, and you are praying for them. It could mean more than you know.
