My dear friends,
We have walked together through four simple but precious ways of keeping Christ’s light alive in us.
We began with daily choices, remembering that walking in light is not about great deeds but about small steps of faithfulness. Then we learned the importance of kindness, how even a gentle word or a quiet act of love can carry the light of Christ into someone’s darkness. We spoke of guarding the heart, keeping it tender and open to God so his light is not clouded by bitterness or fear. Finally, we ended with the call to shine without shouting, letting our lives speak of him more than our words ever could.
Friends, this is the way of walking in light. Not burdensome, not complicated – just steady steps with Jesus leading the way. And when you stumble, as we all do, remember that his light does not go out. He is patient, ready to lift you again.
So, walk on. Do not be afraid of the darkness, for the light in you is not your own – it is his. And his light will never fade.
