After more than half a century on earth, I am learning that I do not need to confront and touch everything.
Not everything in life is ours to tamper with. Not every boundary is meant to be crossed.
“I have the right to do anything,” you say – but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything” – but not everything is constructive. (1 Cor. 10:23).
We live in an age where curiosity is sold as wisdom, and boundaries are mocked as limitations. People dabble with the mind, experiment with creation, play recklessly with feelings, and even flirt with the occult – convinced that they are in control. But the truth is sobering, when we touch what God has fenced off, the one who gets burned is not God – it is us.
This is not about fear, but about discernment. It is a father’s voice to a child, saying: be careful where you walk. Because some things, once broken, cannot be put back together. Some doors, once opened, are hard to shut.
So, let us get on this journey together, learning from one another.
- Guarding the mind, the place of transformation.
- Honouring the body and creation, as God has designed.
- Protecting the heart, the wellspring of life.
- Refusing to toy with truth, purity, money, time, and the glory of God.
It is not about missing out. It’s about staying whole. Because life in Christ is not a playground of experiments. It is a walk of wisdom.
A walk of love.
A walk of obedience.
