A spark can start in the quietest place – the mind. Nobody else sees it. Nobody else hears it. But it shapes everything. That’s why the mind is one of the most dangerous places to play games.
The world tells us it’s harmless: hypnosis for calm, mind-programming for success, endless streams of voices shaping how we think. But Scripture reminds us, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Rom. 12:2).
The mind is not neutral ground. It is the battlefield.
What you allow in, grows. What you dwell on, shapes who you become.
When we subject our minds to human manipulation, we give away the very place God designed to be renewed by his Spirit. We risk programming ourselves into someone we were never meant to be.
But when we yield our minds to God, something better happens. His Spirit fills the silence. His Word reshapes our thoughts. His peace guards our anxieties.
The mind is not something to toy with. It is the spark that can burn down a life. Or the spark that can light the fire of faith.
There are things that can never be restored once broken.
Choose wisely what you let in. Choose to be filled with the Spirit (Eph 5:18).
