Greetings! Psalm 15 gives us a piece of very important information – who can dwell in the presence of God? Who are those who are worthy of living in communion with God?
The psalmist made is clear that the righteous get to live in the presence of God. It emphasizes the importance of living a life of integrity, honestly, and justice. This is a person that speaks the truth, doing what is right, and keeping promises. He does not slander or cast slurs.
How often to we examine ourselves? Do we constantly review our own character and conduct to ensure they are aligned with God’s principles. How do we strive to walk upright, live righteously, and be someone with integrity? Do we realize how much our actions and words matter? How does that affect they way we live our life? Do we seek to live our life to honour God?
Let us pray: Heavenly Father, help us to cultivate the qualities described in Psalm 15. May we walk in integrity, speak truth, and live justly. Guide us in our daily lives so that we may be worthy to dwell in Your presence. May we become more Christ-like every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
