Greetings, my dear readers.
In the upcoming week, our focus turns to five powerful Bible passages: 1 Kings 17 to 19, Psalm 91, and Psalm 118. These chapters share a profound common theme: the unwavering faith and trust in God during times of uncertainty and trial.
The three chapters of 1 Kings chronicles the extraordinary journey of the prophet Elijah, the famine, the confrontation with the Baal worshippers, his despair and renewal. Through a small still voice, God ensured Elijah of his presence. Elijah remained steadfast in his faith despite overwhelming odds.
Psalm 91 is a beautiful promise of God’s protection and refuge while Psalm 119 is a song of thanksgiving.
These passages remind us of the importance of putting our trust in God, even when the circumstances do not look good. In the next five days, I encourage you to read these five passages and meditate on the ways God has been faithful in your life. May the story of Elijah and the uplifting words of the Psalms deepens your faith and trust in God’s perfect plan.
