This week’s Bible readings of Ps 100, Rev 14, Ps 82, Ps 58, and Ps 50 offer a powerful exploration of two important themes – God’s justice and our worship in response.

Ps 100 calls for joyful praise. It reminds us that God’s steadfast love ensures forever. So is his faithfulness. It invites us to worship him with thanksgiving. Rev 14 shifts our focus to God’s righteous judgement. The Lamb sits upon the throne. All nations are accountable before God. Ps 82 declares that God defends the weak and calls for righteousness. Ps 58 echoes the cry for justice, exposing the corruption of the wicked. It celebrates God’s role as the ultimate judge. Finally, Ps 50 is a blend of justice and worship. It reminds us that God does not seek empty rituals but true devotion and righteousness.

As we read and meditate on these passages, think about how God’s justice and call to worship intersect in your life. Spend time reflecting on his Word and allow it to shape your actions and attitudes.

May you be blessed in your reading of the Bible. May you find peace when you worship the one true living God.
