“The path of the righteous is level; you, the Upright One, make the way of the righteous smooth.” (Is 26:7)
We sometimes hesitate to move forward because we are not sure what to expect. What if we make the wrong choice? What is it’s harder that we thought? What if we fail? What if we do not like it?
Is 26:7 reminds us that God makes the path smooth for the righteous. No, this does not mean life is free of difficulties. It means when we walk in obedience, God goes before us.
Stepping forward in faith requires trust. When the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, they could not see what was waiting for them on the other side. It can the same for us today. However, we can be sure God prepares the way for us. He levels the road and builds bridges.
When God calls you to do something – in ministry, relationships, or personal growth – do not let fear hold you back. Instead, lean on his promises. He does not just send you, he leads you. His presence goes before you. His grace sustains you.
When you are sure it is God’s call, take the step. Move forward with confidence. God has already paved the way. The journey may not be smooth failing all the way but we are in God’s hand.
What is something God wants you to do but you have not taken the first step?
