Between the sorrow of the Cross and the joy of the resurrection, there is Holy Saturday – a day of silence, waiting, and wonder. The tomb is sealed. The world is still. But God’s love is not on pause. It never does.
Even in the silence, his sacrifice speaks. Jesus gave everything so we could be made new. He bore our sin, not out of obligation, but out of love – deep, fierce, and undeserved. This love does not end at the Cross. It carries through the waiting, into the dawn of resurrection.
So, as we sit in the quiet of Holy Saturday, let us not waste the stillness. Let it stir us. Let it remind us that following Jesus means more than remembering his sacrifice – it means living for him daily. With courage. With purpose. With love that reflects his.
He died for us. Let us live for him.
